Atmaviswas Vidyalaya (AVV) is a safe and welcoming place for people on their journey to mental health recovery. Located in the serene surroundings of the Vanki River of Valsad, Gujarat, it provides a “home away from home” for those facing mental health challenges. AVV combines compassionate care, medical expertise, and holistic therapies such as counselling, occupational activities, and group engagement to help its care recipients, lovingly called “Resident KIDs,” rediscover their confidence and reclaim their lives. Inspired by the vision of its founder, the late Shri Bipin Malia, AVV has been a beacon of hope since 2006, providing affordable and nurturing care to those in need.
