Mentally ill persons are classified under Mental Health Act 1988. As their disability is not visible and because of the poor understanding & illness on the part of general public and officials operating the law, they remain most neglected and misunderstood category amongst all other disabled. Atmaviswas Vidyalaya, in their own small way, is working to rehabilitate them.
