Dr. Mahesh Parikh, MD (Psychiatry), PhD (Philosophy)

Dr. Mahesh Parikh is a highly accomplished psychiatrist and psychotherapist with an MD in Psychiatry and a PhD in Philosophy. Since the inception of our organization, he has been a key figure, serving as a consultant psychiatrist and psychotherapist.   Dr. Parikh completed his MBBS and MD in Psychiatry from G.S. Medical College, Bombay University. He has held numerous prestigious positions, including President of the Bombay Psychiatric Society, and has gained extensive experience at KEM Hospital, Mumbai, where he worked as a House Officer, Registrar-Psychiatrist, Lecturer, and Reader. Additionally, he has served as a Senior Resident at GMERS Medical College, Valsad, and as an Assistant Professor at Banas Medical College. Dr. Parikh has also contributed significantly to various institutions, including Dr. Subodh Mehta Medical Center, Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Sashi Mangalyam Special School for Mentally Retarded Children, Andhakshi Ashram, Vatsalya School for Mentally Retarded Children, Nandigram in Vankal, Kasturba Hospital in Valsad, and Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital in Dharampur. His contributions to medical education are notable, having taught undergraduate and post-graduate medical students at Seth G.S. Medical College. He has also taught to nursing students at KEM Hospital, L.T. College, and SNDT University. With his vast expertise and unwavering dedication, Dr. Parikh has made significant contributions to mental health care and medical education.
